I've never seen these before and I can't help but to me they look like a Mickey Mouse cactus ! Happy NewYear!

The dogs are mostly and luckily behind barns. They are big, bark and like to show their teeth. Their job seems to be to warn the owner that someone is coming and to warn the coming one not to enter without permission. Totally different are the cats. There job seems to be to sleep in the warm sun, or play together.   But there are also dogs who live like cats,  the smart dogs.

We are now living in the countryside of southern Spain. Live the simple life. Cat Mietzie likes to walk along and it seems that these two have become friends.  But fortunately also a not too simple life. We have a car, T.V. and a laptop, . . . . So life is good!

We saw this during our trip to our new, temporary, home. Simply from a window of a hotel along the motorway at Guadix.
