Do the robots take the power?

Image
There were some rumours over here that robots, made by men, would overtake the humans. In Eindhoven is the Technical University, so why not ask them. "Yes", they told me, "we make robots and they are getting better and better . . . ." "No", they said, with a strange smile, "they can not overtake us  . . ." I ask if one or more robots might have escaped. "Not sure", the guy said with a strange look in his eyes . . . On my way home I found the prove that they have left the building.

one of, hopefully, many more

The first really nice day of the year.  Remember the first day of the year when the weather is fine for taken your bike out for a ride, or for a drive in your car with the roof open, go out for a walk without a coat,  leave the house to drink a beer in a pub, after so many months we call winter. I did and did almost anything just mentioned . . . . . and I enjoyed it, hope you too!

Visiting the only Dutch city with an English name,

Image
As far as I know is 's-Gravenhage or Den Haag the only Dutch city with an english name. It's The Hague. After a trip with the train, better for the environment, although we have a hybride car, we saw The Hague in the sun. We vist the photo museum to see the photos of Michael Wolf. An interesting exposition where you could see the change in style through the years. But The Hague, or Den Haag also known as 's-Gravenhage has a lot more to offer. Het Binnenhof where our government settles, het Malieveld where people come together when there is an action of the union, the beautiful station, all of that we hadn't enough time, so we will go back . . . . But there was time to take some photo's . . . . . het vredespaleis Het Vredespaleis  A work made by Micael Wolf Everything finished, so time to leave.

Fair again

Image
although time was short, business, appointments, and so many other things in life we have or think we have to do, I went back to the fair.  Not completely true.  There was a diner appointment quite near the fair. In fact, we could see and hear the fair while eating and talking. So after dinner I took a short walk, yes it was a dinner corpulent with, for me, to much but tasteful food. So that walk serves more than just visiting the fair. I think the fair is a wonderful place to take photographs and I hope you find that too or at least like the photo's a bit . . .  Fishing fun  A man's best friend  Buying your first tickets  Integration  Jump  Men's talk  Phone is killing time  Waiting   Soccer  Some have all the fun, some have all the waiting Waving goodbye? Some gear talk All these photos were taken with an X-Pro1 and the 35mm 1.4.  The camera and lens I mostly carry

Fair

Image
Don't know what it is but I like the fair. Is it the paintings, mood, lightning, people, food, just don't know. So when I was in the city and saw the fair I went back to the car to take a camera. Did not have much time, the fair has not even started, it was in bright daylight so no lights flickering no music, no people, but I went for it . . . . Man at work Portrait of Fidel A little boy's dream  Big Brother is watching you Work before the fun starts. I hope I find the time to go back, hopefully in the evening and make another post . . .
