Rock and Roll in Helmond

By the time I'm writing this I'm following PinkPop on the T.V.. 
In the first years I was one of the many who wanted to be there and were there. This year it's the 50th birthday of that music festival.
So now as years gone by, making money, moving to other places, getting older, less time,  I found my place for the T.V. , like a couch potato (to be more precise it's not a telly, but my IMac). 
But this afternoon I was in the city of Helmond, business as usual, when I thought I hear some music. 

So when time was right I walked up to the sounds. 
It's not PinkPop, maybe it's only Rock & Roll, but I like it . . .

After the renovation

  yes, we did our best, but now they are on the roof, our solar panels.  The bathroom has also been renovated in between, so it was time to get out for a while.  Not too far, just a walk in nature and then also shoot a heron. Not really, of course, so no gun was involved, but with a camera.  Oh yes, and we will also go to a sunny country this year when it winters here, but more about that later. Stay healthy and optimistic, you will feel a lot better doing so . . .

Gifts, gifts.

  Apparently we are now in a period where we give a lot of presents. The period in which we received a lot of presents seems to be behind us.  Not that it's a bad thing, rather the opposite. So it turns out to be true, for us at least, that giving is better than taking.  The presents are for the little ones, the children. Wonderful to see how happy they can be, how intensely they enjoy unpacking and the surprise when the gift is unwrapped in front of them. The absolute highlight appears to be the permission to bring a present when it is time to go to sleep. Stay healthy and optimistic, the world can't do without it!
