There is something about the weather . . . . .

Last year we had some very hot days and we don't have airco. And now there is a heatwave again.That means in the past days we were working near fans at 35 degrees Celsius or more.
We did discus the airco possibility then but decided not to buy one. It uses lots of energy so they told us and we try to work "as green as possible". But I'm sure in the next meeting we will discus this option again.

 Today, suddenly rain, temperature rapidly going down, luckily also inside. (That's about the temperature, not the rain). We really enjoyed watching the rain just as some others here in the street. We waved and laughed to them and they wave and laughed back. Yes, they, also, still don't have airco. For a moment we were like kids, all together enjoying that unexpected moment.

 Watching the rain like kids, listening to the thunder, feeling better with the temperature getting lower.



on the tv we saw that the Tour de France had to stop the race because there was too much snow and hail

After the renovation

  yes, we did our best, but now they are on the roof, our solar panels.  The bathroom has also been renovated in between, so it was time to get out for a while.  Not too far, just a walk in nature and then also shoot a heron. Not really, of course, so no gun was involved, but with a camera.  Oh yes, and we will also go to a sunny country this year when it winters here, but more about that later. Stay healthy and optimistic, you will feel a lot better doing so . . .

Gifts, gifts.

  Apparently we are now in a period where we give a lot of presents. The period in which we received a lot of presents seems to be behind us.  Not that it's a bad thing, rather the opposite. So it turns out to be true, for us at least, that giving is better than taking.  The presents are for the little ones, the children. Wonderful to see how happy they can be, how intensely they enjoy unpacking and the surprise when the gift is unwrapped in front of them. The absolute highlight appears to be the permission to bring a present when it is time to go to sleep. Stay healthy and optimistic, the world can't do without it!
