Yes, we're on the road again . . .

We had great plans, leaving for months, travelling through Asia, everything seems all right. But, politics, earthquakes, health problems, changed everything.

 So we look at the possibilities and decided to forget everything, except the fact that we're on the road again . . . . .
So if everything works out the way we hope you will see pictures from us again that are not taken were we live now, but on the road to . . . .

 Travel will start, if nothing happens, on the 24th of November.  Still so much to do, going to the dentist, visiting friends ( because we will be of a long time ), making appointments with the people who will take care of our house, deciding what to take and how to pack. 


We're going by car so that needs some cleaning and maintenance too. We still have six days before we go . . .

After the renovation

  yes, we did our best, but now they are on the roof, our solar panels.  The bathroom has also been renovated in between, so it was time to get out for a while.  Not too far, just a walk in nature and then also shoot a heron. Not really, of course, so no gun was involved, but with a camera.  Oh yes, and we will also go to a sunny country this year when it winters here, but more about that later. Stay healthy and optimistic, you will feel a lot better doing so . . .

Gifts, gifts.

  Apparently we are now in a period where we give a lot of presents. The period in which we received a lot of presents seems to be behind us.  Not that it's a bad thing, rather the opposite. So it turns out to be true, for us at least, that giving is better than taking.  The presents are for the little ones, the children. Wonderful to see how happy they can be, how intensely they enjoy unpacking and the surprise when the gift is unwrapped in front of them. The absolute highlight appears to be the permission to bring a present when it is time to go to sleep. Stay healthy and optimistic, the world can't do without it!
