Chinese, but not the food . . .

We are living now in the south of Spain. Europe, sure, Europe, but different in many, mostly, small habits.
One of them, the Chinese.
If we go to the Chinese in the Netherlands, we go for dinner. Over here you go to the Chinese for everything except for dinner. 
They have shops here were they sell everything except Chinese food.










You find here fishing rods, paint, tools, glasses, pens, deodorant, brooms, clothes for your dog, yes, clothes for dogs and many, many more.

 If you don't need anything it might be a pleasure for the eye just to look around. You might come out with things you even didn't know you need . . .
But the prices are not negotiable

After the renovation

  yes, we did our best, but now they are on the roof, our solar panels.  The bathroom has also been renovated in between, so it was time to get out for a while.  Not too far, just a walk in nature and then also shoot a heron. Not really, of course, so no gun was involved, but with a camera.  Oh yes, and we will also go to a sunny country this year when it winters here, but more about that later. Gifts, gifts.

  Apparently we are now in a period where we give a lot of presents. The period in which we received a lot of presents seems to be behind us.  Not that it's a bad thing, rather the opposite. So it turns out to be true, for us at least, that giving is better than taking.  The presents are for the little ones, the children. Wonderful to see how happy they can be, how intensely they enjoy unpacking and the surprise when the gift is unwrapped in front of them. The absolute highlight appears to be the permission to bring a present when it is time to go to sleep. Stay healthy and optimistic, the world can't do without it!
