Waiting for a date to eat


They told us that if we let it dry this would become eatable and tasteful dates


The date is a fruit that occurs frequently in the Sunna. For example, in the Hadith according to Al-Bukhâri it is said: "The person who starts the day with seven 'adjwa dates, that day will not suffer from poison nor sihr (black magic)." (Volume 7, Book 65, Number 356) [5]. Eating 'adjwa dates regularly would restore and cleanse the liver. One could therefore heal after taking a small amount of poison.
that's fine but I just love them!

After the renovation

  yes, we did our best, but now they are on the roof, our solar panels.  The bathroom has also been renovated in between, so it was time to get out for a while.  Not too far, just a walk in nature and then also shoot a heron. Not really, of course, so no gun was involved, but with a camera.  Oh yes, and we will also go to a sunny country this year when it winters here, but more about that later. Gifts, gifts.

  Apparently we are now in a period where we give a lot of presents. The period in which we received a lot of presents seems to be behind us.  Not that it's a bad thing, rather the opposite. So it turns out to be true, for us at least, that giving is better than taking.  The presents are for the little ones, the children. Wonderful to see how happy they can be, how intensely they enjoy unpacking and the surprise when the gift is unwrapped in front of them. The absolute highlight appears to be the permission to bring a present when it is time to go to sleep. Stay healthy and optimistic, the world can't do without it!
