Staying in Spain (Corona part 3)

We stay and try to stay in Spain.
Why?
Because we like it here and for now we feel safer here comparing to the Netherlands, including the long and uncertain trip home.  Hopefully no one ever has to know if we're right or wrong.

But let’s be honest, situations change quickly now.
For now we have to stay as much as possible in our house. Luckily we have a garden so we can do our walking around the house. We are living our life as normal as possible. We use our e-readers a lot, don’t worry, still lots of books left.
We have internet so we follow the news, watch (Dutch) TV on our Ipad and try to follow what’s going on.
Being more at home, we found out that we had a shortage of washing lines.
Until now there is a solution for everything.
So for now, everything is "fine". We hope all of you stay well and that when it's all over we can shake hands and kiss each other.

After the renovation

  yes, we did our best, but now they are on the roof, our solar panels.  The bathroom has also been renovated in between, so it was time to get out for a while.  Not too far, just a walk in nature and then also shoot a heron. Not really, of course, so no gun was involved, but with a camera.  Oh yes, and we will also go to a sunny country this year when it winters here, but more about that later. Stay healthy and optimistic, you will feel a lot better doing so . . .

Gifts, gifts.

  Apparently we are now in a period where we give a lot of presents. The period in which we received a lot of presents seems to be behind us.  Not that it's a bad thing, rather the opposite. So it turns out to be true, for us at least, that giving is better than taking.  The presents are for the little ones, the children. Wonderful to see how happy they can be, how intensely they enjoy unpacking and the surprise when the gift is unwrapped in front of them. The absolute highlight appears to be the permission to bring a present when it is time to go to sleep. Stay healthy and optimistic, the world can't do without it!
