Time to be on the road again . . .

Yep, time to go. To leave Spain, and for at least a couple of months we will be living in The Netherlands again. Do we like to go, oh no! But sometimes you'll have to. We enjoyed our stay in Spain that much that it isn't easy to say goodbye. But we will come back as soon as possible, maybe not in this neighbourhood, Spain is a big country, but coming back is our idea
So for now we take our time with packing, try to organise our way back by car and hope everything will go all-right. There is still the COVID-19 going around so booking hotels is still an issue, just like food and where to eat. And of course we need something to eat on our 4 days trip. If everything works out we are on the road again at the end of this week.

After the renovation

  yes, we did our best, but now they are on the roof, our solar panels.  The bathroom has also been renovated in between, so it was time to get out for a while.  Not too far, just a walk in nature and then also shoot a heron. Not really, of course, so no gun was involved, but with a camera.  Oh yes, and we will also go to a sunny country this year when it winters here, but more about that later. Gifts, gifts.

  Apparently we are now in a period where we give a lot of presents. The period in which we received a lot of presents seems to be behind us.  Not that it's a bad thing, rather the opposite. So it turns out to be true, for us at least, that giving is better than taking.  The presents are for the little ones, the children. Wonderful to see how happy they can be, how intensely they enjoy unpacking and the surprise when the gift is unwrapped in front of them. The absolute highlight appears to be the permission to bring a present when it is time to go to sleep. Stay healthy and optimistic, the world can't do without it!
