No Corona talks, just walks

Stay healthy and optimistic! The world needs it!

Corona walks

Yes, Corona made us do it. We try to go out al least once a day, just for a walk in the woods, maybe take our bicycles, but out we go . . . . Stay healthy and optimistic!

Some kind of mushroom . . . .

Corona still rules in this country so avoiding people seems to be the best thing to do, they're telling us. Stay at home, sure, but with this, not that fine weather, a walk in not crowded areas seems a good idea. Not much to see, just some kind of mushroom . . . . I think this one looks like an elephant foot . . . Stay healthy!

No Carnaval this upcoming year?

Image
This year no confetti, no prince, no opening of the carnival. Corona makes it impossible. But the top days will only be in a few months, who knows, maybe something (more) will be possible. Today, on the 11th of the 11th, the opening of the carnival, the regional channel tries to make something of it and it succeeds! But yes, instead of bustling Roermond, where the opening would take place for the first time this year, we go to the forest.  Perhaps the best place to forget about carnival for a while. Stay healthy!

What to (Corona) do?

Corona will not go away in the Netherlands, anyway not quickly enough. So more “ not allowed to do” things. So more in house time, so what to do. Garden: not really necessary but change it in a less work intensive place. Okay, we’re going to do it, no hurry, no timetable but just to keep ourselves busy with something else than watching TV were all the talk shows are about COVID. My Brompton: oh I like that bike but lately I didn’t used it. To be honest, lately means several years. But I could never sell it. The idea, the way to handle, the look, great! So I keep it and now I’m riding it again. Need a good cleaning job, new tires and what to do with all the updates and changes I made. Bring it back to original or keep it like it was, or change even more? So checking websites to see what has changed over the years and what to do.
