Back to Nature




As you will probabibly know and have noticed there is a burning topic in the news and that the climate. More about the worries about it and maybe even more specific about nature and what we have done, doing and going to do with it. So to find out more I thought why not search for nature in our neighborhood. 




Not much of a nature photographer, it was never the highlight of my interest but time and photographers change, I maybe one of them.




And I must confess that I like taking photos in nature more and more. Still making lots of mistakes, still not have enough patience to compose a bit more, looking for the best light, but so far so good. Anyway that's my opinion. Your miles may vary.


And because autumn is coming in there are  mushrooms in the pictures.


Stay healthy and optimistic, there is still so much to see.

After the renovation

  yes, we did our best, but now they are on the roof, our solar panels.  The bathroom has also been renovated in between, so it was time to get out for a while.  Not too far, just a walk in nature and then also shoot a heron. Not really, of course, so no gun was involved, but with a camera.  Oh yes, and we will also go to a sunny country this year when it winters here, but more about that later. Gifts, gifts.

  Apparently we are now in a period where we give a lot of presents. The period in which we received a lot of presents seems to be behind us.  Not that it's a bad thing, rather the opposite. So it turns out to be true, for us at least, that giving is better than taking.  The presents are for the little ones, the children. Wonderful to see how happy they can be, how intensely they enjoy unpacking and the surprise when the gift is unwrapped in front of them. The absolute highlight appears to be the permission to bring a present when it is time to go to sleep. Stay healthy and optimistic, the world can't do without it!
