Old Fuji's seem to have a second life!

Normally I don't talk about camera's but there is one camera I like so much that I will make an exception . . .  
The Fuji X-Pro1.
I have two of these machines and one of them, the oldest, unfortunately stopped working. Did it all, remove battery, reset, a few days without battery, nothing seems to work. I just place it on my desktop because I like it (her?) looks. 
Days went by and I used my other camera's ( no, not only Fuji). Once in a while I checked the forums on the internet and I found this!


One minute and only one little screwdriver and my X-Pro1 works again. 
This was the first picture I made when we meet again . . . .

After the renovation

  yes, we did our best, but now they are on the roof, our solar panels.  The bathroom has also been renovated in between, so it was time to get out for a while.  Not too far, just a walk in nature and then also shoot a heron. Not really, of course, so no gun was involved, but with a camera.  Oh yes, and we will also go to a sunny country this year when it winters here, but more about that later. Stay healthy and optimistic, you will feel a lot better doing so . . .

Gifts, gifts.

  Apparently we are now in a period where we give a lot of presents. The period in which we received a lot of presents seems to be behind us.  Not that it's a bad thing, rather the opposite. So it turns out to be true, for us at least, that giving is better than taking.  The presents are for the little ones, the children. Wonderful to see how happy they can be, how intensely they enjoy unpacking and the surprise when the gift is unwrapped in front of them. The absolute highlight appears to be the permission to bring a present when it is time to go to sleep. Stay healthy and optimistic, the world can't do without it!
