There is something about the weather . . . . .

Image
Last year we had some very hot days and we don't have airco. And now there is a heatwave again. That means in the past days we were working near fans at 35 degrees Celsius or more. We did discus the airco possibility then but decided not to buy one. It uses lots of energy so they told us and we try to work "as green as possible". But I'm sure in the next meeting we will discus this option again. Today, suddenly rain, temperature rapidly going down, luckily also inside. (That's about the temperature, not the rain). We really enjoyed watching the rain just as some others here in the street. We waved and laughed to them and they wave and laughed back. Yes, they, also, still don't have airco. For a moment we were like kids, all together enjoying that unexpected moment. Watching the rain like kids, listening to the thunder, feeling better with the temperature getting lower. on the tv we saw that the Tour de France had to stop the race because there was

Fun, I hope so . . . . .

"Colour or Black and White ?", that's the question

Image
I used to see myself as a black and white photographer that only used colour when it was specified asked for. Why? Simply because I like black and white more. For me, a colour photograph used to be a " tell how it was there". When using colours creatively I always had the feeling that the photo was not good developed. But time changes and now I start using colours more and more. But when I have to choose it's always black and white , well not always but for sure mostly. " Black and white gives more freedom and space to think, not everything (colours) are clear, you can make your own story", is what you hear from other photographers. True, not true, maybe true for some.  While cleaning up some harddisk, we seem to need more and more space, I thought why not develop some black and white shots again, but this time in full colour . So here are some of the results . . . (and for comparison I'll put the black and white ones also)
