Corona and mud troubles part V

We are living in the countryside here in Spain. When it's dry we can reach the house using a small road by car, but when it's raining it's important to get the car to the road on top of the hill. Why, because the road changes in to one big muddy place. Although our car has 4 wheel drive it's near to impossible. We've never tried it, but others have and failed.









So when coming back from shopping in the rain, we have to leave the car uphill and bring our shoppings walking. Here you see our shoes. 


 The mud is light so your trousers will be ready for a big wash. 

 Don't even try to keep them clean, the Spanish mud will win.

After the renovation

  yes, we did our best, but now they are on the roof, our solar panels.  The bathroom has also been renovated in between, so it was time to get out for a while.  Not too far, just a walk in nature and then also shoot a heron. Not really, of course, so no gun was involved, but with a camera.  Oh yes, and we will also go to a sunny country this year when it winters here, but more about that later. Gifts, gifts.

  Apparently we are now in a period where we give a lot of presents. The period in which we received a lot of presents seems to be behind us.  Not that it's a bad thing, rather the opposite. So it turns out to be true, for us at least, that giving is better than taking.  The presents are for the little ones, the children. Wonderful to see how happy they can be, how intensely they enjoy unpacking and the surprise when the gift is unwrapped in front of them. The absolute highlight appears to be the permission to bring a present when it is time to go to sleep. Stay healthy and optimistic, the world can't do without it!
