COVID-19 troubles also known as Corona.

As most will know, Spain has decided to take drastic measures to stop the spread of COVID-19.

For us that means that we can only go to town to do some shopping. And we will have to, because when we heard in the restaurant on Saturday that it would close on Sunday and stay for the time being, the visit to the supermarket turned out to be unnecessary. Most of the shelves were already empty. Fortunately we have some in the house and tomorrow we will try again.
We also considered going back to the Netherlands but decided to stay here for the time being. We are with our car and it is not sure if we can cross the borders everywhere. 

 The virus is present in the Netherlands and certainly in the area where we live, and the government has also announced measures there.

 Like the rest of the world, we can't do much more than stick to the rules and hope for better news.

After the renovation

  yes, we did our best, but now they are on the roof, our solar panels.  The bathroom has also been renovated in between, so it was time to get out for a while.  Not too far, just a walk in nature and then also shoot a heron. Not really, of course, so no gun was involved, but with a camera.  Oh yes, and we will also go to a sunny country this year when it winters here, but more about that later. Gifts, gifts.

  Apparently we are now in a period where we give a lot of presents. The period in which we received a lot of presents seems to be behind us.  Not that it's a bad thing, rather the opposite. So it turns out to be true, for us at least, that giving is better than taking.  The presents are for the little ones, the children. Wonderful to see how happy they can be, how intensely they enjoy unpacking and the surprise when the gift is unwrapped in front of them. The absolute highlight appears to be the permission to bring a present when it is time to go to sleep. Stay healthy and optimistic, the world can't do without it!
