LOS REYES MAGOS


Three kings ( Los Reyes Magos) are celebrated here on January 6. 

On the evening before this day there is usually a parade. 

Mainly intended for children but also worthwhile for the elderly. 

So after that . . . .

the world still needs it.

  What we’re doing in the Low Lands? Just living with its troubles and happy moments. And of course enjoying the weather when it’s fine. Fair from above.

I've probably mentioned it before, but I have a soft spot for the fair. The colours, the sounds, the smells, everything, I don't know what it is about, but fair, yes, I love that.  Not to sit in the bumper cars, not to eat cotton candy, but just to stroll around the fair, that's what it's all about for me.  And today I got the chance to view the fair from above.  So enjoy! Stay happy and healthy and enjoy the nice things in life.

The Carnaval is over

The carnival is over. . . And because we like it and are still in the Low Country, we celebrate it, so on to Maastricht. And how busy it was, much busier than expected because the weather was not good.  But Carnival in the rain remains, maybe a little wetter than planned Carnival.
