Willie sings again . . .



Yep, it's that time again. Pack your bags and enjoy the surroundings for a while and then, as Willie Nelson sang, "On the road again". But now with in mind the plan to come back again this year.




But before, well almost then, it's goodbye. Then a few months in the low country and then back to the sunny country, if viruses and peace allow.


Stay healthy, peaceful and optimistic. The world still needs it!

  What we’re doing in the Low Lands? Just living with its troubles and happy moments. And of course enjoying the weather when it’s fine. Fair from above.

I've probably mentioned it before, but I have a soft spot for the fair. The colours, the sounds, the smells, everything, I don't know what it is about, but fair, yes, I love that.  Not to sit in the bumper cars, not to eat cotton candy, but just to stroll around the fair, that's what it's all about for me.  And today I got the chance to view the fair from above.  So enjoy! Stay happy and healthy and enjoy the nice things in life.

The Carnaval is over

The carnival is over. . . And because we like it and are still in the Low Country, we celebrate it, so on to Maastricht. And how busy it was, much busier than expected because the weather was not good.  But Carnival in the rain remains, maybe a little wetter than planned Carnival. Stay healthy and optimistic, even when the Carnaval is over . . .
