dragons and boats

 They do that every year, oh no, they did that every year and COVID made them stop. But now COVID is stopped, for the time being that is. So they did it again.

What?

Something with dragons and boats. 

Why?

There's a canal here that looks like a canal but boats can no longer sail here, for many years. So what to do with this water road? Filling it with sand, make it a nice and long garden, building houses, so many ideas and, as usual, nothing happend.

So?

Let's pretend it still is a canal. Find some boats that look funny and or strange and let's race. 








Paddling makes hungry, looking at it also!


Stay healthy and optimistic, the world still needs it and some peace might be helpful too!

Fair from above.

I've probably mentioned it before, but I have a soft spot for the fair. The colours, the sounds, the smells, everything, I don't know what it is about, but fair, yes, I love that.  Not to sit in the bumper cars, not to eat cotton candy, but just to stroll around the fair, that's what it's all about for me.  And today I got the chance to view the fair from above.  So enjoy! Stay happy and healthy and enjoy the nice things in life.

The Carnaval is over

The carnival is over. . . And because we like it and are still in the Low Country, we celebrate it, so on to Maastricht. And how busy it was, much busier than expected because the weather was not good.  But Carnival in the rain remains, maybe a little wetter than planned Carnival.
