Flu, coffee and the Giro.

The sun is shining and I have the flu, at least I think so, but hey, I'm not a doctor. It really is beautiful summer weather and I'm sniffling and coughing like a worn-out diesel. But the sun is shining, I'm sitting inside and still enjoying the sun. And now coffee, with lots of frothed milk, if it doesn't help, it doesn't hurt and it's tasty anyway.




So luck is on my way. And on the television there is the Giro, the biggest bicycle race of Italy. So all this, accompanied with a lot of handkerchiefs, the world ain't that bad. 



So stay happy healthy and optimistic, we all need that!

Caminito del Rey

Before the Corona troubles we visited and walked through the Caminito del Rey. Despite my serious back troubles I managed to take some photos. Gifts, gifts.

  Apparently we are now in a period where we give a lot of presents. The period in which we received a lot of presents seems to be behind us.  Not that it's a bad thing, rather the opposite. So it turns out to be true, for us at least, that giving is better than taking.  The presents are for the little ones, the children. Wonderful to see how happy they can be, how intensely they enjoy unpacking and the surprise when the gift is unwrapped in front of them. The absolute highlight appears to be the permission to bring a present when it is time to go to sleep. Stay healthy and optimistic, the world can't do without it!
